The 2025 Awards
There was standing room only at the 23rd Annual Sport Godalming Sports Awards held at the Wilfred Noyce Community Centre on Friday November 28th. The Mayor of Godalming, Cllr Bob Crooks and the Mayor of Waverley, Cllr Penny Rivers were both in attendance.
The evening was a celebration for local athletes, to acknowledge their successes and achievements and to thank the many volunteers without whom many clubs would not exist. Guest speakers were Martin Cosser from the local charity, Charlie’s Promise, and Helen Jenkins, who has recently swum the Channel and raised £24,000 for 5 charities.
